First Blog Post!

Question:
  • Do you sympathise with The Joker?
  • What have you learnt from this lesson?

Paragrah:

  • Do you sympathise with The Joker?

I found out, during my research, that the Joker was actually a normal person desperate for money to support his pregnant wife and unborn child. During his attempt to help two criminals, he was being driven into a vat of chemicals by batman. The chemical bleached his face white and turned his lips read and dyed his hair green. The chemical also fixed a permanent grin on his face. He was driven completely insane by that day's happenings, and thus, The Joker was created.

Based on what is stated above, I still do not sympathise with the Joker as, even if he was desperate to earn money, he should not get involved in illegal events. People involved in illegal events always end up being caught or other bad endings.

  • What did you learn in today's lesson?

I learnt about describing characters. I learnt how to describe them to make others judge them the way I want them to see the characters. One way is to give the characters many sides and personalities in different occasions. And b varying their actions and speech.

  2. Yes, I concur with you and Jacq as well.

Good that you went to research more on Joker's background, but you could elaborate on your point on why you do not sympathize with him. What did he do? What illegal events? How is his character like?
